Dr. David Lowenstein, PHD

Not a good experience in any way...would not recommend this Dr. at all.. My daughter had hired him...so much injustice.

In a long and emotionally draining custody battle, Dr. Lowenstein played a pivotal role in protecting my daughter's best interests. His thorough, unbiased approach and genuine concern for my daughter's well-being couldn't have differed more dramatically from my previous attorney's effort. Egregious errors were made, which prevented his official involvement in my case and it quickly became clear that finding new legal representation was critical. Despite the roadblocks and limited time, Dr. Lowenstein's unwavering dedication empowered me to make the difficult choice of seeking new counsel, risking self-representation due to the final hearing being weeks away, and a judge who rarely grants continuances. Thankfully, due to his assistance, I found an excellent attorney who took on my case and I now have equal custody and visitation rights. Without him, the outcome would have been devastating. I highly recommend Dr. Lowenstein to anyone prioritizing a child's well-being.

This guys is scum of the earth. He is corrupt and will only side with the person paying him. DO NOT HIRE him, you will regret it.

Never send your child to this man. He has been hired to work for one party’s benefit and does not seek to benefit children and their best interests.

David Lowenstein lacks professional ethics. He is dishonest, unprofessional, inert, and undeserving of the title "doctor." He was the psychological evaluator in our divorce. His final report was extremely late, inaccurate, missing key elements (for ex: police reports and jail time for domestic abuse) and comprised mainly of hear/say from others peripherally involved in the divorce. For instance, a parenting coordinator I'd just met mentioned that he had called her and asked, "What do you think." I was horrified to learn that this supposed expert whose opinion would be valued in our divorce proceedings was gathering information from a woman with whom we'd only had one meeting. His lack of integrity extends to his billing practices. I was charged for services that he did not perform. I feared that questioning the billing would result in a negative of me, so I paid the bills that went far, far beyond the contract for the report. Protect yourself and children and stay far away from him.

The good Dr is a hired gun for he court system. He will testify, say, or write exactly what he is asked for a fee. No telling how many parents he has cost parenting time with simply because the opposite parent had the funds to buy him and his analysis..Very sad

David has helped me and my entire family on and off for over 20 years. He is a skilled, empathetic, kind man, who has given us support, faith and professional guidance during our most desperate moments. I hadn't had any interaction with him for about six years and just a few days ago called him with a family crisis. He was instantly available, and is helping guide my daughter through a difficult time. Out of curiosity, I just read other reviews of David, including negative ones. I was stunned to read any reviews that were less than positive. Though they may be valid, they are diametrically opposed to my experience.

Walked out 15 minutes into my second apt. Constantly interrupts and his was phone OFF silent during my visit, I was trying to tell him how I felt about my twin's suicide and he wouldn't let me finish and kept insisting how I should feel. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a mental health "professional" and I use that term very loosely with him. I mentioned to him that it bothered me he was interrupting, he said "Well that's what I do" and he gave a sarcastic "best of luck" goodbye

This guy is a scum bag. Could care less about his patients, only cares about getting paid. Our son was suffering from anxiety and depression. Lowenstein only made it worse. Can't believe he has a license to practice.

I am a mother whom had supervised visits set for my daughter and her dad. Her dad sexually touched her age of 4i had a good forensic that did hours of talk and paperwork with what questions and video said true..then dad takes me back to court child turned 8 had this guy write report on what he thinks.this guy spent 20 min no paperwork video or asked my daughter about it then writes courts saying it didnt happen due to i didnt turn in paperwork lucky 4 me i had a email from him saying i complied
