Darrell Elkin, APRN

Darrell Elkin is unprofessional, condescending and he doesn't listen before cutting you off and interjecting his incorrect assumptions. Don't walk, run away from this guy. It's a miracle people like this made it through enough education to enter the medical field. What a joke.

My wife and I have not seen Darrell Elkin for a while but did see him often for several years. He was always friendly and respectful. We sometimes had to wait to see him because of his busy schedule but did not mind because of the excellent care we received. We do not hesitate to recommend him to our family and friends.

Very unprofessional. Went to walk in clinic on a Friday evening for a migraine I'd been fighting for 3 days that came back with a vengeance Friday afternoon. When he finally came in, he slammed the door (NOT considerate of my migraine) then proceeds to ask "Are you dead yet!!!??" No check up, no questions except for "we've done this before haven't we?" " well, here comes your shot to make you sleepy" and walks out. Nurse comes in, gives me a shot in each hip, then tells me I can leave and seems to wait impatiently while I try to gather myself to walk out. On the other 2 occasions that I've gone in for migraine (within the past 5+ yrs), they've ALWAYS monitored me after the shot, or been very helpful. Not here. Felt like I was treated like a crack head looking meds...to which I am NOT!

Efficient and my kids loved him. Was in and out of the office within 30 min

After waiting a long time to even get back into an exam room, I then waiting another hour for the actual exam. When Darrell came in, I mentioned that I had been waiting a lot longer in the exam room than I had anticipated, but I wasn't necessarily upset about it. He spent basically no time with me, skipped all standard-of-care diagnostic testing, gave me a prescription and exited the room while insulting me. Waited 2 hours for 3 minutes of rude, substandard "care".

Hurtful. Came in took one look at my face and said wow! Yes i know i have acne thats not why i came to see you. JErk

Rude, haughty, self-righteous jerk of a provider. SEVERAL experiences with this guy and they've NEVER been better than awful. I've not been told what's actually wrong/diagnosis. Aftercare instructions are vague, at best. This guy just does not care about people. I've no idea why he's a medical provider.

Very rude and hurt my feelings. Never finished explaining what was wrong with me and he cut me off to tell me what can I do about that? And its 7oclock on a Friday, what do you expect me to do? I do not recommend him to ANYONE. Im very upset even having to pay the visit of $87. Unprofessional and just plain rude!
