Danny Gibson, MFT

Danny helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I will forever be grateful to him for the new skills I learned on how to manage my past trauma issues, managing current relationships, and recognizing negative thoughts and there effects on my overall being. He saved me from myself.

I found Danny to be thoughtful, caring, and supportive. HIs use of CBT skills was helpful in helping me manage my anxiety and depressive symptoms.

Danny served as my therapist for 2.5 years. He helped me broaden my perspective and let go of underlying negative beliefs. I always felt motivated and positive after my sessions with Danny. I also appreciated his personal understanding of LGBTQ issues and identity.

Danny was very attentive, and patient when I first met him. I was in a very dark place in my life, and now, two-years in, I am much better. I have hiccups along the way, but through my therapy sessions, I am able to put a name to feelings and emotions that I have had for years, but did not understand the terminology behind what was going on. He have checked in on me when he saw a need if I was a little off(for a better choice of words) after our session. I think you will be pleased, and will feel a sense of "Empowerment" and "Liberation" by choosing him as your Therapist.

I have been seeing Danny for about four years, through multiple points in my career, mental health and life's journey. Danny has been monumental in my growth and is one of the few therapists I have practiced with that has an understanding for the Black experience. His style of therapy is very helpful for those looking to do the work themselves.

Mr. Gibson’s email response was very flat and unhelpful. He simply stated that ‘his practice was full’ and sent me on my way without so much as a referral. A couple years later, he felt it appropriate to send me a LinkedIn invite. Very unprofessional.

I have left several calls and emails for Mr. Gibson. He has never returned any of my attempts at reaching out. I am in need of help for my son and very disappointed in the unprofessionalism of those that chose careers to help the public.
