I ordered copies of my medical records because I moved out of state. I received them in my email and saw that she diagnosed me with a chronic skin condition on my face and neck. First, this was for a psych evaluation for a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder. Second, she didn’t even ask me about it at our appointment. I have a birthmark on my face. She described it as a rash that’s raised and plaque like and wrote that it was consistent with eczema. I have a port wine stain birthmark (which is not that uncommon, honestly, and most of us do have them on our faces). It only appears as reddened skin but otherwise is just healthy, normal looking skin. I don’t even have acne or anything that would make it appear otherwise!! Also, why would it always look the same every time I visit you—every three months for two years!! It wasn’t until changing to a different doctor at the facility that the skin condition was finally removed from the record. 10/10 never again.
