Danelle Hollenbeck, LMHC

Danelle is one of the best psychologists I have been too. I have enjoyed my time with her and learned so much about how trauma affects me and is stored in me. EMDR and bisound really helped.

I found Danelle after seeking therapy after the traumatic birth I went through. I was desperate to heal mentally from all of it. Danelle is the real deal. She shows a great amount of empathy and compassion but will not sugarcoat anything. She had given me coping skills that previous therapists didn’t provide me with. I was skeptical of the biosound bed and what it could do for me but I honestly wish I knew about it sooner. Danelle is the 4th mental health professional I’ve seen since my teenage years and her expertise and knowledge is unlike anyone else. Danelle cares about her patients well being and works with them to get them better so that they don’t have to be in therapy anymore. That speaks volumes to me that she cares more about seeing people get better/no longer require her service vs just taking someone’s money and not getting to the root of everything.

I went to Danelle after a breakup to help with anxiety and depression. We used Bisound therapy and it was wonderful. My anxiety went completely down after a few sessions and I became motivated again. She helped me to identify the negative beliefs I was having and change my thinking. I learned to set boundaries in my life. I will definitely go back for biosound sessions periodically and if I ever need to talk to someone, she will be the one I reach out to. Thank you for all of your help. Highly recommended!!!

My husband and I were able to overcome our issues with our marriage through the help of Danelle Hollenbeck. She is an awesome Gottman Marital therapist and she literally saved our marriage! We learned techniques and ways to communicate better. She's the one to choose if looking for marriage therapy.

I came to see Danelle at Health City. Right away she made me feel at ease and gave me techniques for the anxiety I was struggling with. After several sessions she hit the childhood trauma drama right on the head and we talked over this in sessions and used EMDR. I can now say I have more of a positive mindset and I don't feel alone any longer. I healed old wounds that were festering through Danelle's skills of being able to guide me, with such a relaxing and calm manner. She helped me reflect on my past and I was able to realize it was not my fault. I was the child. Great self-awareness and healing, which have helped in all relationships. She is a brilliant psychologist as were her title in the UK. Thank you for helping me to feel I am not damaged.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for Danelle's talent in doing EMDR and interpersonal therapy. My brother recommended therapy to me and we looked into EMDR. I found Danelle and the trauma I faced from being an immigrant in a foreign country to pleasing my parents to be the best was healed thanks to her and the style she uses when doing EMDR. After processing the traumas we worked on my personal feelings of why I never allowed myself to experience joy or nice things. It wasn't a fast fix, but that's the point when working on yourself. I feel so good, so whole, so complete now with a better acceptance of things that were out of my control.

Danelle is just so great at what she does! She makes you feel so comfortable and is so easy to talk with. I sought out a therapist after a traumatic delivery of my son. Instead of being able to experience joy as a new mom, I was just experiencing sadness and questioning my ability at being a good mother. We first did talk therapy, which helped, and then moved to EMDR. All I can say is WOW. I cannot believe how well it works and her style and making you feel comfortable is just amazing. Whenever I think now about the delivery I can feel happy and am able to give my son the strong, loving mother he needs. I used to be triggered by certain shows, people, and hospitals but now it is like nothing happened.

I had been searching for the right counselor for awhile. Danelle Hollenbeck has taken time and shown compassion during my course of treatment. She is highly skilled in EMDR therapy, which is what I was looking for to treat PTSD and get off of my medication. I liked that she took in in-depth report on our first session and subsequent sessions. EMDR therapy has changed my life and I am so grateful I have found an EMDR therapist such as Danelle.
