Cynthia Witkowski, RD

My husband has been seeing Cynthia for 3 years now to help manage diabetes. He learns something new and helpful at every appointment. Most recently she referred him to an endocrinologist, and that has been a life changing experience. We are very grateful for her knowledge and concern.

I had an appointment today - but Kelsey (RD) was a no show. I received notification two days ago that the appointment was still on, so I arrived to the scheduled appointment on-time. Waited 30 minutes when the receptionist sort-of explained the situation that Kelsey has been out for a few days, and was she waiting for the DG owner (Cindy) to call back with what to do with me. Cindy owns DG and has an office at another location. I received no notification that the appointment should be rescheduled or cancelled. This is very unprofessional, a waste of my time. Cindy was supposed to call me back - so far no call back. Also, the Highlands DG office is hard to find for first timers.

There is so much information about how to manage my diabetes that I learned from Cynthia Witkowski. She is very knowledgeable and quite dedicated to education for this condition. One of the most important factors for me was her non-judgmental nature! It made all the difference for me and was a main reason I kept attending her sessions. Thanks to her, I am headed in the right direction. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of diabetes knowledge!

I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Kidney failure and wasn't sure how to make the correct dietary changes to ensure there was no further progression. I felt confused and alone, then I found Cynthia in my insurance plan as an approved provider. My expectations for my first visit was to walk away with a meal plan and an understanding of healthy eating. Both of my objectives were achieved. We also set weight loss and exercise goals.
