I’ve been seeing Cindy Tubbs since spring 2020. I struggle with extraordinarily severe cPTSD and resulting anxiety and depression. I’ve been in therapy for 32 years with minimal results; it had just become a routine. I wasn’t sure if anyone could truly help me beyond a surface level with my severe trauma. I have to say, Cindy has completely changed the game for me. She does EMDR and general reprocessing, and she takes her time really building a relationship and trust with her client. She also recommends a lot that I can do myself at home, such as books and worksheets I can use, and exercises to incorporate into my routine, but isn’t pushy about it either. I’ve gone from pretty much unable to leave the house to making actual plans again and feeling hopeful for my future. Cindy has also made me feel extremely comfortable, welcome, and valid as an LBGTQ person. I highly recommend Cindy as a knowledgeable, trustworthy, patient, genuine, and kind therapist who truly cares about her clients.
