Zero compassion, zero personality

I’m not one to complain much, nor do I ever take to google to rate/review goods/services. But I felt it was necessary today. I suffer from severe anxiety & depression. Daily tasks that are mundane for the average person take every ounce of energy I have. It’s also hard to talk about my conditions as they’ve still got such a “stigma”. It was even more difficult for me to seek treatment. But my pcp convinced me to do so. So, I logged on to my video visit today (I did happen to be riding as a passenger in a vehicle as I had just come from another appt that had run late) and soon after, Amanda, a Med assistant, also logged on. Blank expression on her face, no hint of even a faint smile. And in her most monotone voice she said “what’s your name and date of birth.” No “hi, how are you today?” Or any type of pleasantry whatsoever (clue #1). After we got through her basic questions, she said that Cindy, the NP would log on next. When she did, I was again greeted by a blank stare and weak welc
