Totally agree about lack of empathy. This attitude is usually exhibited in an uncaring overworked Doctor, not an FNP who seems to have an open calendar much of the time.

She provided no empathy and decided to tell me to "take responsibility for my own depression" and wouldn't even discuss an increase in anti-depressant meds, making me feel that the depression was my own fault.
