She was rude and did not care about the problems I came into the office for.

I came in for suspected EDS. We did an autoimmune panel, which came back normal. One of the tests was, inexplicably, a genetic test for markers of autoimmune drug resistance. Since I'm not autoimmune, the test was not necessarily. Crystal got confused and told me it meant I could be autoimmune (not sure how you get that from a normal drug resistance test and negative ANA and rheumatoid panels) and insisted I go to a geneticist. I am a medical laboratory scientist. I run these tests for a living. When I tried to explain to her that a genetic marker for drug resistance has nothing to do with autoimmunity, she talked down to me and scheduled my referral... with a cancer geneticist at Vanderbilt. That geneticist then called me confused to cancel the appointment, because I'm not autoimmune and I don't have cancer! Crystal: stay in your lane. If a lab worker tells you you're wrong about a lab, maybe take two seconds to listen before wasting everyone's time.

Crystal Brock takes her time with you and listens to your concerns. These days that seems rare.

She is very thorough and knows her patients.

My appointment was a work in. I did not have a long wait even so. She took the time to really listen to me and my concerns. She took appropriate actions and made the necessary tests.
