Dr. Crystal Hoffert, OD

Dr. Hoffert did an amazing job on my light adjustable lenses (LAL) cataracts. I was not really sure what to expect entirely during the lengthy process, but she explained every step of the way. Thanks to her skill and expertise in adjusting these cataracts, my vision is better than I ever thought possible. She has definitely exceeded all of my expectations, and for that, I am eternally grateful to Dr. Hoffert and the St Luke's staff. Everyone is caring, compassionate, and all work beautifully together to ensure the best possible patient experience! Thank you!

During my visit, my care was "primarily" and for the most part handled by a PA. He asked the necessary medical questions and performed all of the preliminary tests. David was most professional and caring. After all the tests were finalized, Dr. Hoffert, reviewed the results with me, performed an additional test, asked me if I had any questions and suggested I see a retina specialist.

I would highly recommend St.Luke's Institute to my family & friends due to it's outstanding reputation.

My only complaint is that upon exam I was found to have an injury to the right macula due to a floater tearing off a piece. The refraction should not have been done until after the doctor's exam. I believe my vision has and will improve as the eye heals making the prescription I was given obsolete. It appears then that I may need another refraction for an additional cost. Not good practice.
