This guy needs to get off his high horse. Felt constantly looked down on and felt like he knew better about situations despite not knowing enough context. When you disagree with him and try to explain more of your side, he won't listen and say his explanation is the correct one without taking anything you said into consideration. He's a prime example of having a doctrine degree and not being really good at the job.

Dr. Hartmann confirmed my suspicions about my son's diagnosis. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the condition. I feel comfortable about our evaluation and the services that were recommended today.

Dr. Hartmann really helped me & my entire family. He is very understanding and listens carefully. He is an expert in Autism. He met with us for an entire 2 hours. I recommend Dr. Hartmann to anyone. If he says your child does not have autism it's because it's true. His staff is friendly and his secretary was especially helpful to me.

My son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum when he was two for obvious reasons. When I saw Dr Hartman when he was three he tried to tell me he didn't think he was on the Spectrum. He told me he could have a communication delay. I know my son better than he does he met him for 20 minutes and I could tell you that his assumptions were wrong. He's also done this to a friend of mine's child. I recommend not seeing him if your child does have autism and he misdiagnosis your child wont get treatment

Horrible experience. Never take your child to see him. He TRIED to evaluate my toddler son. By tried I mean he put us in a dingy room, no toys, didn't interact with him...Oh wait yes he did.....My son hugged him and he said "Thank you, now you can let go." Awesome bedside manners there Doc! He never took into consideration my son is 3 and maybe interacting with him might have helped. His "evaluation" was a joke. Oh-And how does the question is this your 1st major part of a child eval? BTW Yes!
