Courtney Alvarez

To preface: I want to address Courtney Alvarez APN respectfully, so I apologize if I am incorrect below. The way Ms,Mrs Alvarez APN truly listens to her patients… the top tier intellect she has, comfortability she provides, & the perceptiveness she hones is truly outstanding. Ms,Mrs Alvarez APN reviewed all notes from previous doctors, and went ABOVE and BEYOND in insuring my safety, when putting me on a new medication. It has by FAR been the best medication I’ve ever been on for my mental illnesses. Not only is she phenomenal with the aspects mentioned.. YET, my favorite part is that she does not prescribe, prescribe, prescribe. She does what is needed for the health and well-being of her patients. Over every other M.D or APN I’ve seen in the past, she’s been the best of the best. I am truly blessed after years of trial and error, with medicine, that Ms,Mrs Alvarez APN found the right medication for me!

I have met with Courtney a few times while I was in an Intensive Outpatient Program. She is very blunt and can come off as harsh and judgmental at times. I was meeting with another provider outside of the program who suggested getting assessed for ADHD. Courtney said I didn't have it because I was on time to all of my appointments.
