Dr. Cory Smith, OD

Dr Smith had been referred by my previous doctor. I was concerned about no longer having access to her due to the complications I had from prisms in my glasses. Dr Smith was Great! He was able to tweak my glasses to Perfect vision. Sadly, the organization for which he worked went out of business and I am unable to find his current office location.

I was referred by a specialist. Staff was rude. DR. was pleasant but didn't explain. I arrived fir contacts and the bill was 800 Dollars after insurance was told my eyes were not medically necessary. Called my insurance they were given the run around. I got my insurance on the line and went down to the office manager was shocked. She was told to release me so I could go elsewhere. Office charged me 80 for a fitting I never had. Went to a new Dr. everything was covered and my eyes were deemed medically necessary and I paid 0 dollars. Beware of this office! DR. was part of Rocky Mountain eye center previously. Manager didn't know proper codes according to my insurance.

Dr Smith is the first eye dr in 15 years who offered to fit gas permeable contact lenses. He was enthusiastic, eager to solve any issues and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I have the perfect lens.

My appointment, on 6/30/21, was for the purpose of an annual eye exam.

Doc always has great answers to every question, honest and very thorough. I highly recommend him

My eye exam was very thorough. I requested Dr. Smith because I like his friendly, empathetic & knowledgeable demeaner. I have had partial cornea transplants & cataract surgery in both eyes so need extra attention to details which I get from Dr. Smith and Rocky Mtn. Eye Clinic.

He is personable, thorough and professional. Saved my eye when I developed Shingles. Really went bat for me with medicare pharma who wanted to deny his medication request. Good doctor!

My husband and I both see Dr. Smith. He is a very caring person, always asked how you are doing when he comes in wants to make sure you are in good general health, and that you have not experienced any issues with your eyes. He always has time to answer any questions I have and will explain it in a way that is easy to understand. I am very confident in the services I receive from Dr. Smith and his entire staff.

I have learned from family experience that your eyes can be your most valuable asset. I have also entrusted their care to Dr. Corey Smith for a number of years. While i have respect for Rocky Mountain Eye Center, I am especially grateful that Dr. Smith has taken such exemplary care of my vision issues. At my age, it is of utmost importance to me. The fact that he is located locally and saves me from what was a 160 mile round trip is another blessing.

Very good service always. Friendly staff. Obviously on occasion someone is having a lengthier procedure than was expected but in the several years we have been going here we have been seen within or just slightlly after our aptmt time. Honest! We got new glasses 4 years ago and this is third year since we needed no changes. We know several people that go to drs that insist they need new glasses and lens changes every year. Maybe they do but I have my doubts they have that much change every year. We rank this doctor highly.
