An elegant provider!
Dr. Hughes established a caring rapport and was sensitive to my concerns regarding painful exams from other providers in the past. She was very gentle, professional and did a good job of describing what she was doing and what she saw during my procedure. She was also great about answering follow up questions through the Mayo Clinic portal. It is wonderful to see such a competent young woman in medicine! I am wishing her well in the future with her career.

CANCER???
I was told just by her looking at the pictures taken during a cystoscopy that I had cancer, when I questioned her if she was sure she said yes, then she went on to explain the levels and stages and said mine was probably the lowest level of cancer and it was caught early, I went in to have it removed by a surgeon and he found NOTHING!

Professional, extremely competent and nice.
My prostate biopsy went perfectly. Usually a bit scary, Dr. Hughes and her team made the biopsy a fun procedure. Yes! Her upbeat demeanor and calm professionality put my fears to rest. She was excellent at explaining each step of the procedure. I had no wait for the procedure and it was quick and painless. I had no complications or later pain. From what I can tell, my procedure was state of the art MRI/Fusion. Kudos to Dr. Hughes. She definitely lives up to the stellar Mayo standards. Oh, and Thanks to the Mayo teams for saving my life, repeatedly, Steve

prostate cancer biopsy
I was treated very professionally with personal attention every step of the biopsy. Fourteen samples were taken from my prostate gland and through those a high grade agressive cancer was found. This enabled me to get treatment right away, which I am very thankful for. I highly recommend Corrine Hughes.
