Constance Jordan, ANP

If you're looking for a therapist that will hold your hand, move on. Connie is a MEDS doctor, not a therapist. She's very matter-of-fact, very direct and asks questions people want to interpert as therapy questions. They aren't. She watches over her clients like a hawk, but ifyou try skipping appointments, she doesn't call and find you. That's NOT HER JOB! She's there to make sure the meds are working and you are functioning. Her directness could only be interperted as coldness if you're looking for a therapist, again- NOT HER JOB. If you require a lot of hand-holding and a shoulder to cry on, fina a therapist. If you need somebody that knows about psych meds and their nasty side effects, call Connie. I have and will continue to recommend her to anyone that needs a meds provider. Don't ecpect her to put in the work if you're not willing to do the same.

Excellent..TELEMEDICINE appt punctual and she allows for whatever time is necessary, to assess issues and to review med usefulness and possible problems. I go to the appt, with thoughtfulness re: issues and meds with me , so no time is wasted. Connie is great, if you are willing to prepare for appt-and accept input that is supportive, though not always what I want to hear.

If Constance Jordan is appointed as you or your loved ones Independent Examiner request a different appointment or hire your own Expert Witness. Constance Jordan is arrogant, cold and incapable of compassion. I would never voluntarily use or recommend this women as a service provider! Very unprofessional! If I could give less than 1 star I would.

If you are struggling with PTSD, or anxiety, this is not the person to go to. There is far too much for me to list here that went wrong, but I don't see this provider as being a good fit for me.....or for anyone who is struggling with that condition. She strikes me as the kind of individual who is in this business for the authority, the power trip......she listens only to respond, not to genuinely understand where the patient is coming from. She makes serious decisions far too lightly and does not seem to value the patient's input about those decisions. She was very cold, no warmth whatsoever. She might be okay for other conditions, but if you have a panic condition or an anxiety condition, I suspect seeing her is only going to make your symptoms worse, not better. Also, if you need to reschedule, it can take days for anyone to get back to you. I don't trust putting my med management in the hands of the people at this agency. Instinctively, something feels "off". I'm going with my gut.

Very cold personality, almost aggressive. I had no opportunity to present my wishes for my treatment or concerns that I had.....she gave me the impression that if I spoke up for myself, I'd be quickly shut down.....or punished somehow. So, I didn't dare speak up. I mentioned that certain meds that I'd been on for my entire adult life, needed to be adjusted. Her thoughts on this was to suggest a different type of med altogether, a med that I'd tried in the past and that I KNEW wasn't a safe or reasonable replacement for the other medication. I did not feel the least bit comfortable talking to her about ANYTHING and I doubt that I'd feel comfortable in the future. I had a bad feeling from the get-go with this agency, for a variety of reasons. She was just very cold and is not the right provider for me or my medical conditions. Not everyone is cut out for the medical field. I would not recommend, especially if you are seeking help with an anxiety condition or PTSD.

I think that constance is a very good psych and she has helped me tremendously. I cant even grasp why some ppl would say otherwise unless your not doing what your sapose to do?

Two words to describe Constance Jordan "EVIL LIAR"

Constance is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with..Twice she has charged me for a visit and she has also been paid for those visits through my insurance which is Cigna.....Cigna has contacted her repeatedly but she refuses to give me my money back...I am in the process of going to the medical licensing board with my complaint...Very very shady woman.....What a poor representation to Maine Behavioral Health!!!!

Terrible the office is poorly run I showed up twice for appointments and it was locked and no one showed up. I have been out of meds for weeks and have been calling with no response even the pharmacy tried 3 times but nothing Finally got a call back was basically yelled at and told it was my fault and that I was no longer able to get treatment with Connie Jordan. So she left me with out mental health meds I’ve taken for years in the middle of the holidays with no where to turn.

She is snotty mean very unprofessional when it comes to certain things like paper work very short with me just overall not a nice person she left me high and dry without meds now im forced to quit cold turkey and when I tried to talk to her about it she acted childish and pretty much told me too bad it's people like her that keep people down she needs to be barred from the field I don't have enough room to tell everything but I'm not the only one and she will be found the truth will come out

This NP is the most unprofessional , negative , uncaring person my son has dealt with in his soberiety joirney. I will not go in to details but the best place to file a complaint against her is the state if maine board . She believes that she can get away with the harm she cause to her patients because of her position . The board needs to here about the abuse she inflicts on very vunerable patients . This is the only way she will be made to answer to her nasty unprofessional treatment or lack of

After reading the negative reviews of Connie on this page I feel almost duty bound to leave my own feedback. I think Connie is awesome - she listens, she's empathetic, and she laughs with me. I've never ANYTHING but positive vibes from Connie but I get the feeling that she doesn't put up with any bull and would be the first to call a spade a spade. I've never had any trouble getting appointments and Connnie and the staff (Mary! Love you!) have gone out of their way to work around my schedule.

poor bedside manner, distrustful of patients, pushy/pushed medications seemingly based on incentive as opposed to best medical decision.

Ms. Jordan can be very rude. She is not really interested in what the patient needs but in what she wants to do regardless of the patient's views. When things get tough, she drops you.

If you like being put on the defensive, & then having that defensiveness used against you as evidence of your mental instability, then Ms Jordan is for you. But if you enjoy having your concerns genuinely listened to & being treated like a responsible adult, you should look elsewhere. She is sanctimonious, inflexible & unfeeling, but her worst trait is her skill at convincing you that you're the problem. Considering the vulnerability of MH patients in this regard, she is morally indefensible.
