She should be prosecuted
It's been years since my experience with her, she should be put in jail for what she does. I highly recommend anyone else

Absolutely love this woman!!!!
Colleen has been with me giving birth to all 6 of my Oschner babies. She listened to my concerns and recommended extremely helpful tips that got me through each experience perfectly. I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about and if we’re referring to the same woman but Colleen Newman is one of the best personalities there. I would highly recommend her services to anyone.

It's been almost 2yrs since my experience with ColleenNewman and I'm still traumatized and have flash backs with uncontrollable crying. She is the worst and should not be practicing. I was held down by her when she did the most excruciatingly painful exam(also scraping my mebranes without permission)while I screamed and my husband begged her to stop. I feel this led to my difficult birthing experience and shoulder distotia. She has a horrible bedside manner degrading me, making me feel worthless until I agreed feeling forced to do an epidural(that was still not good enough for her) and her complaining about working literally laying her head down while in between my legs saying she was exhausted. I can not speak of my childs birth without being recommended trauma counseling and saying I am not the only one . I find this unacceptable, will never reccomend her ever! The rest of the hospital staff and midwives are nothing short of amazing. I was just very unfortunate and ended up with her.

I would not recommend Colleen Newman as a midwife to anyone. She delivered my son and DID NOT deliver the placenta after! I lost so much blood from the placenta not being removed and my body trying to get rid of it I had to have a blood transfusions the next day. And while I was losing large amounts of blood and in horrible pain, all she said was to suck it up and deal with. She wasn’t even concerned about how much blood I was losing. She was rude the whole time I was there!

Will never go back to this hospital again to birth a baby because Colleen Newman is there. After I hemorrhaged and was fixed up, she folded her arms and said "I TOLD you you needed Pitocin." as if it were my fault. But wait, I said YES to Pitocin and did have it??!! She was in a rush and complained the whole time. She aggressively pushed my baby's neck down to pop his shoulder out of the birth canal and said rudely "Well do you want this baby out or not?", I felt the tear even thru epidural.

I did not like her at all. Horrible. Complained about having to deliver babies back to back all day. Didn't make me feel like everything was going to be ok. Felt more like , "Hurry up, let's get this over with". Was unsure about an epidural , she stated "That's up to you" , with a slight attitude and walked out. Once my baby was born , she was no where to be found afterwards . Nurses were WAY better. They would have been better off delivering my baby. I would have rathered my original midwife.
