Great listener and easy to build rapport
Colleen helped me so much. She was so easy to work with. I was so exhausted and stressed when I found her. She helped me understand that I was a people pleaser and I wasn't taking care of my needs. She helped me set boundaries and start taking care of myself and reduce my stress. I'm much happier now. I recommend her to anyone in need of help.

Greatful for Colleen
Colleen has been so helpful, kind, and insightful for me. She really helped me unpack and undo a lifetime habit of negativity and has taught me how important it is to pay attention to what I say to myself. The world needs more people like Colleen IMO.

I haven’t seen Colleen as a therapist, but we have worked in the same building for 17 years. Colleen has always been friendly and caring. She shows great compassion for people with great incite. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

care philosophy

I work with a wide variety of people of different ages.  I tend to be interactive and engaged.  I view the clients as experts about themselves and seek to understand their perception of themselves and their place in the world.  I  use a variety of approaches.

biography

Graduated with honors from the University of Washington and received my Masters  in1994.  I worked in community mental health agencies for many years before going into private practice in 2004.  I volunteered at The Crisis Clinic, Ryther Child Center and at a food bank.
