I had a severe cold and possibly COVID symptoms. I told them that these symptoms were the reason for the appointment, but they did not mention that I would have to have a car visit, which they were supposed to do. Okay. I understand COVID concerns. So, I opted to have the car visit because if I waited for the symptoms to go away and rescheduled (which is what they suggested), there would be no reason for the visit. After checking in and giving my symptoms to a clerk on the phone, I waited 30 minutes for Colleen to come out. She walked around the parking lot for 5 minutes looking for my car. If I had not gotten out of my car and called her, I don't think she would have found me even though they had me explain where I was parked. The visit didn't last long and little was accomplished. One would think a huge center like SIMMED could afford to set aside rooms inside for suspected COVID treatment and that they would at least have designated parking spaces for car visits!
