Cindy did not accurately diagnose my condition
On the day of my appointment the medical assistant took my vitals and listened to me carefully and recorded what I said (history of asthma with repeated past episodes of acute bronchitis).Next, Cindy McVey Nurse Practitioner came into the room. Cindy read the medical assistant notes where it stated that I was an asthmatic with a history of acute bronchitis. Cindy listened to my lungs and informed me that I did not have congestion in my lungs (I had a productive cough all day the day of the appointment). I pointed that out to her and her response was that the congestion was not in my lungs but in my upper respiratory tract. I advised Cindy that I had a previous history of bronchitis which was complicated due to my asthma. Her response was “oh you have asthma?” (the medical assistant notes clearly stated that). I feel that Cindy examined me with a one size fits all approach and should have focused on my past episodes of bronchitis and my history of asthma. I will not see her again.

Worst Dr I have ever seen. Very rude and uninformative and unprofessional. Continued to focus not on my problems played them down and picked out bad things to say about me on my chart and not the real reason I was there. Did not listen to me and kept asking me the same questions over and over. I repeated myself at least 4 times. I've never had such horrible care at Blue Springs in my whole 12 years of going there. She showed no compassion or care. I truly hope someone reviews her horrible bed side manner. She made my symptoms 10 times worse by coming in.

The worst
She was rude unprofessional. She is not knowledgeable enough to help you with whatever you need. Told me she needed to check with other doctors before doing anything for me because she didn’t understand my symptoms or didn’t believe them. It was for a normal prescription not any kind of bad drug. I hope anyone that sees this finds a better more compassionate doctor. This nurse is not a good doctor and that’s a fact. Your health deserves better than her I promise!

Worst I have ever had and I’m 58yrs and seen many physicians. For one thing she does not hold an MD in medicine. She is a nurse practitioner and I was ok with that before I went because I have seen many and have had a great experience but she takes the cake for...rude, belittling, unprofessional. I was a new patient and she barges in the room with no introduction and says “What are you here for?” To make a long miserable experience short...she had no compassion and really did not care what I had to say and if I did I was made to feel like I should bow down to her greatness. I could not wait to get out of the appt.

I recently had some health issues that I needed a strong partner to resolve. Cindy was understanding, explained what was happening and was an advocate for me as I worked to address my health issues. I appreciate the time she spent with me and the recovery plan she laid out. Her commitment to my well being was greatly appreciated and I am now on a healthy path armed with good information to ensure I stay healthy.

HORRIBLE! Worst Nurse Practitioner I have ever seen. Gives the other good doctors at Lees Summit Physicians Group a bad name. Misdiagnosed my illness as a "repeat virus" even though I was coughing my head off and told her I felt beyond terrible. Sent me home with nothing...paid them $60 for her to say, "go home and rest with fluids." Two days later I ended up at Urgent Care with diagnosis of bacterial infection and bronchitis. They had to give me a shot, breathing treatment and 2 antibiotics
