Christine handled my situation so poorly and unprofessionally. She is also always late. And very casual relaxed and defensive about it. She will say she wants to be on time, but doesn't care to actually make that happen. After telling me to trust and lean on her completely, she handled my situation so poorly. When I tried to get a recommendation for another therapist she didn't want to give it. Kind of like, no you don't get to leave me that easily. Something about her not wanting to feel left. But therapy isn't supposed to be about you or your issues or you getting what you need in terms of attention and what have you. It's supposed to be about the client or patient. I told her I was really struggling. She was like I find you so impressive, which is just isolating. If somebody tells you they're struggling it doesn't matter if you have some lens on that makes you"so impressed." Please listen to them. It is not okay to make therapy about you. It is about the person seeking help.
