Most unprofessional, aggressive and biased counselor I have ever experienced. After my husband agreed to go to counseling, we chose ABC counseling. Made it very clear we didn't want it to be a bashing session, but to learn how to communicate better. Within the first 15 minutes we were berated, put down, and degraded. She was extremely attacking towards my husband. When I asked to redirect and circle back to a particular topic she said no and continued to be extremely aggressive and rude. At 20 minutes we decided we couldn't take any more and she said we were not candidates for marriage counseling and ended our session. We hadn't even had a chance to speak. Any question asked, we would she would cut us off and force her opinion on us. My husband went to car and I followed up at front desk to be sure I didn't need to do anything further to end services. She followed me to the lobby and proceeded to tell me She can't officially " recommend divorce" but I should consider it!

My first visit with Christa exceeded my expectations! She was very kind to me and extremely attentive. I felt that she really took the time to listen to me but, also give me excellent feedback as well. She didn’t make me feel like my problems were insignificant. Instead, she made me feel like she genuinely cares about my well being. My session with Christa was the first therapy session that I walked away from feeling like it was useful, unlike my experience with other counselors in the past. Also she has a great sense of humor and the environment is comfortable. When speaking with Christa, it felt more like I was having a conversation with a friend vs. a counselor. She was extremely professional and I would totally recommend Christa to anyone looking for a very kind but, straightforward therapist that will provide you with helpful information you can put into practice for living a healthier life!

On my consultation visit, I was immediately treated as an issue to be solved. With only a few minutes of knowing me, I was generalized and told I should write code for a living simply because I’m believed to be on the autistic spectrum. Shortly after, I was also *told* what I should do with my life, as far as important decisions for the future such as college classes, rather than being spoken to on a personal level and understood first. Never once did I felt seen as a person or feel that the doctor tried to establish the feeling of trust with her patient that’s essential to this line of work. Keep in mind that by the time these things were being said, we’d never seen each other before, hadn’t known each other for an hour, and were still mostly just going over paperwork. Maybe she has helped people, but I left feeling insulted and worse than when I walked through the door. Tread with caution with this doctor.
