Chris Narsesian, NP

Nurse Narsesain stood at the door and spoke ‘at’ me then said it was MY fault that I had a skin problem. No help, No solutions and $40 copay. Clearly in the wrong field and not well trained or experienced. Needs to take patient communication 101 course and work on his people skills. I would NEVER recommend this NP to anyone ever.

My daughter has been going to Blue Ocean Dermatology in Port Orange for a few years now for early acne and cysts. She saw 1 lady who was good but didn't really reach my daughter. Then, one day, we went in for an appointment and, BAM! There was Chris! He just "clicked" with us and had so much time and patience for my 9-11 year old! My daughter got to really let her sassy side out and he helped her feel comfortable and like she was actually a part of her care instead of just sitting there while the adults talked around her. We went to her appointment today and were sad to learn Chris isn't there anymore. We will definitely miss him and his "Aloha" attitude.

christopher Narsesian was the best and most caring NP I have ever had. He helped me for over 2 years at Blue Ocean Dermatology in Port Orange. I just received the news he is no longer at the Port Orange office. I will go in the see the NP, but probably find a new place to go. Chris will be deeply missed.

I was referred to Chris Narsesian from the urgent care regarding some scalp issues I was having. Upon arrival, the front desk staff seemed friendly. When Chris saw me he examined my scalp and prescribed a topical solution and a follow up appointment in two weeks. At my follow up appointment this man did NOT examine my scalp, did not even put on gloves and pretend to entertain me explaining how I still have itching after blow drying my hair. In fact, he said, "I don't know what a blowout means but maybe don't do that if it makes your head itch. All I've got for you is that solution and you have a refill." I said well I didn't have to come in for you to tell me that? He looked at my paper and stated, "Well look at it this way at least you don't have a co-pay" and walked out. I never mentioned that I was a nurse to this man, but wow I have never been treated this way by a "healthcare provider" before. Maybe if I went in for injections he would have been more interested in my care?
