Horrible bedside manner. Unkind, cold and outright rude. Claimed my lungs were clear after first listening with a stethoscope. We I and my husband could both clearly hear the disturbance in my lungs for two and a half weeks without a stethoscope. She checked again with a different stethoscope and apparently was able to hear how full of fluid they were. I could give several examples of her rudeness but it’s not necessary. Suffice to say she seems like a very unhappy individual and takes it out on her patients. I understand that with COVID running our medical professionals ragged this would explain a lot. But I’ve dealt with her before at Urgent Care about a year ago and she was just as nasty then as well. Having seen my Asante PCP twice recently for this same ailment with no results and now with this nasty individual, I’m feeling frustrated about the changes I likely need to make. I called UC when I was done today and requested that I never have to see this Nurse Ratched again.

I saw Cecily Shaw-Scala N.P. at an Urgent Care were I came because I was in extreme pain from an dental abcess. She began the appointment by yawning so much I stopped talking to wait her out. When I continued she let me know I wouldn't receive drugs which I told her I did not want. I just wanted an xray or antibiotics or her to at least look at my mouth. She ruthlessly tapped my teeth but did nothing else but chastise me for not seeing the dentist. When I called her out for yawning began to yell at me which continued throughout the appt. I never got anything for my teeth.

The worst NP I have ever experienced. My mother's sleep study had been done weeks prior to her appt to go over results. We arrived 10 mins early. 45 mins later this woman finally came in to see us. She said that she had been reading Mom's report. Very unprepared. Very cold manner. Talked down to us. Rushed appt because SHE was late for her own Dr's appt! Gave wrong results! Scared my mom, saying she was non compliant w/CPAP time & would lose machine or pay. Not true. Her events were the problem.

Horrible experience. She does not take responsibility for her mistakes and doesn't have good knowledge of medicine. Does not exhibit any compassion for her patients.
