Appointment felt rushed. She treated me like I’m another client that can get her money. She does not care about her clients

lack of professionalism and inability to respond
It took her several months to respond to a voicemail I left. She proceeded to schedule and 7:45 am consultation, and then never showed, nor communicated that she couldn’t make it. I left several messages and no one could explain why she was absent from the meeting. This person does not value your time.

Highly recommended
Dr. Rode went above and beyond in helping our family navigate school accommodations after our daughter had a full psychological evaluation. We appreciated her skill based approach versus pushing medication. We had been on a waiting list elsewhere for a year during Covid. We were able to schedule and be seen within 3 months. 10/10 would recommend.

Caring and competent
We found Dr. Rode to be professionally competent. She used research-based approaches and best practices in helping our teenage son manage his ADHD, particularly in regard to school and homework. She was very helpful for my son and clearly cared about our family.

One of the worst experiences with someone in the mental health field. I spent over $1000 just to be told that she thinks the severity of my depression is exaggerated and for that reason she was unable to diagnose me with a learning disability. Communication was horrible and it took over six months for me to get an appointment and once I actually had appointment, she was late and I was unable to contact her. I’m honestly so disappointed in my university for even recommending her.
