Casandra Moyer, APRN

Casandra is a farfetch from being a doctor though she likes to present herself as one because she has her doctoral degree in nurse practitioner psychiatry. She does not know what she's doing. I don't think she truly cares about the well-being of her patients andbdoesn't listen. Casandra appears to have a predetermined judgment diagnosis that she decided on based on reading health history questionnaire filled out prior to appointment. I do not recommend her. Casandra does not seem educated in medications though she appears to be book smart and able to recall information but it's impersonal so it doesn't make much sense during the appointment

I recently moved to North County from out of state. It was difficult to see a psychiatrist right away so I saw Cassandra for the mean because she was available to see quicker. She prescribed several meds and every time I saw her I tell her I feel worse but she ignores my concerns, and continues to prescribe the same meds. I continued to take the meds until I could see a Medical Doctor Psychiatrist unrelated to Wellpsyche. The Medical Doctor changed my meds; two months in, I'm feeling a lot better. I do not think Cassandra listens, cares, and is qualified to treat mental health with medication.

I went to Cassandra because I was worried I was on too many meds that weren't helping. I'm now on double the amount of meds and every single time I go to see her I tell her things are getting worse but she just throws more of the same at me. I keep going and keep taking the meds because I know how bad it can be to stop but certainly with each visit to Cassandra my symptoms have only gotten worse. And I don't think she listens or cares. I've honestly started to wonder if they get paid by the prescription at WellPsyche. Mental health struggles are hard enough on their own, but they are made even worse by doctors who don't listen, don't care about their patients, or just don't know what they are doing. And then they somehow have the nerve to blame you for their ineptitude. My GP (who actually went to medical school, unlike Cassandra) has been worried about my health for months and has begged me to get a new psychiatrist. Please to anyone considering her: see ANYONE else.

Literally the worst psychiatric nurse practitioner ever. Inept and not smart enough to understand or cares to understand. Very stubborn nurse and will agrees with what you have to say but is completely unhelpful. Everyones life is different and she does care nor take that into accountably, especially regarding a treatment plan. All this chick does is listen, nod her head, write a random generic prescription, and gets paid. I really recommend seeing a psychiatrist medical doctor.

Stay Away! Clueless and inept. Saw through Wellpsyche website. I had virtual follow appointments. I don't know if Casandra lacks education or experience in mental health but I do not recommend her. She just kept prescribing medications as if in the dark and hoping to find the right one instead of listening to my concerns and symptoms and read PDR. Might make a good therapist because she just nods her head up and down during appointment but offers no medical advice.

I'm new to treating mental health with medication. Ms. Moyer was pleasant, & easy going in the consultation, but she doesn't acknowledge your questions or explain stuff. I stayed with her because I want help & didn't want to sabotage myself. After months of no improvement & the meds she prescribed increased my mood swings, I went to a M.D. Psychiatrist for a 2nd opinion that's not at Crown View. She said my meds weren't right for me. Hope this helps, see a M.D. first before starting any meds.

If you are looking for an excellent care provider, Casandra Moyer would be an outstanding choice and one you would not regret. She is a doctor who truly cares about her patients and their long term health and happiness. I highly recommend her!

Who are these reviewers talking about??? Not the Casandra Moyer I see!! From the first moment I felt comfortable with her. She took the most thorough history I've ever had taken. Her face just reads "caring." We tweaked one of my meds, but by only a tiny amount so we could evaluate its effects before proceeding. Please...do yourself a favor and choose this professional practitioner for yourself.

She was very inept. Did not listen to me or my son(the patient). Refused to treat his bipolar disorder. In the end she tossed pills at us that weren't even approved for children and could have done major damage to my 8 yr old, only to shut me up about treating his BPD.
