My teen daughter has been going to neurofeedback with Carolyn for the last few weeks. We were referred here by her audiologist to see if it could help her with her tinnitus. I must admit that I wasn't convinced that this treatment would be beneficial, but we wanted to give it a try. Not only has the treatment has helped her quite a lot with her tinnitus, but also with headaches and anxiety, and it has profoundly improved her ability to fall asleep at bed time. My daughter saw improvement almost immediately. She's had 8 sessions, and the results are already a pretty dramatic improvement in quality of life. I am so grateful that we gave it a try. If you are considering this treatment, I encourage you to try it too. It could actually change your life! Carolyn is very kind, easy to work with, and super responsive to the needs of the client. After just a few visits my tinnitus was significantly better, as was my anxiety. It felt as though I was getting better without having to really do anything, and truly was everything I'd been looking for.

I went in to my first treatment absolutely ridden with anxiety and tension hardly able to hold eye contact with anyone, afterwards I was calm, relaxed and able to maintain comfortable eye contact. I’m now on my fifth session and it has been life changing. I’ve seen improvements in my social life as well as my focus and energy levels. After reading The Body Keeps The Score, seeing the author's review for this treatment on Dr. Carolyn's info was a sign from the universe. My 4yr old son has been having regular sessions for about 6mos-he was showing signs of PTSD (i'm a mama who has hundreds of studied hours of psychology) from an environment of DV which we fled. The changes I've noticed in him give me hope for his quality of life. He plays with Lego's at their sessions and absolutely adores Carolyn ("lego doctor" as he calls her). I have been lucky enough to have 2 sessions of my own of NF and after just the first one, I was less irritable, kinder to myself and less reactive internally, and my recovery time after a panic attack was cut in half. I truly believe this treatment is an act of self-love, to be your best self. Carolyn is an earth angel; she has such a welcoming peaceful energy and has been so accommodating and kind. I can’t say enough good things about neurofeedback therapy and working with Carolyn. She really knows her specialty well and is very professional to work with. Scheduling is easy. I originally sought out neurofeedback therapy as a treatment for anxiety, but had the happy surprise of it also lowering my blood pressure to healthy levels and greatly reducing the occurrence of my tension headaches. Easy, relaxed atmosphere created by a calming Carolyn. I had the opportunity to share all the dozens of aggravations my brain can cause, and then was hooked up to lovely music to relax. After each session, I notice that I can do things that used to flummox me. I am feeling stronger than I have for years! I know I am easier to live with since I am less of a clutter-bug. It's great!

I am neurodivergent with ptsd and it has haunted every day of my life since childhood. Constant raw emotions, paralysis, panic attacks, not able to track time, not able to multitask or have any foresight, feeling like there’s two opposing people living inside me, no object permanence, not able to pick up social queues, and the list goes on. Halfway into the treatment plan all of these symptoms have drastically softened and I feel immense relief. Like I am meeting my true self for the first time. I feel happier and have more mental energy. I have even decreased my medication.

Carolyn was very thoughtful, took her time with us, help uncover some overlooked medical issues, and address the neurological ones! Though the neurological symptoms are not completely gone, we have seen vast improvement!
