NP stereotype.
I've only seen Carissa once, that was enough. In my case, I've been suffering from iron deficiency anemia for decades, with crippling, bed-rendering symptoms. Now, this is already an empirical proven fact, with all my symptoms already being taken care of after a decade of ineffective treatment of symptoms from neurology to psychology with no improvement up until ID treated. I vised her to see when I should next get a blood test to check iron levels. She attempted to gaslight me into never having it, and despite my medical record. If you understand anemia, or ever experienced severe or long term effects of it, I assure you there is absolutely no mistaking recovering for it. Hindsight is twenty-twenty and having normal hemoglobin levels while still being long-term lifetime iron deficiency anemia isn't some medical impossibly, or even rarity, it's well noted fact. Suffice it to say, if you know the stereotypes of N.P. pretending to be M.D.s in a low income clinic, apply them.

Carissa Caryotakis is a very kind and compassionate person. She is a nurse practitioner, but I'd trust her with my life, the same as with an M.D.

June 2020, a period in my life that I will never forget, I had the pleasure of meeting Carissa Caryotakis, FNP. My daughter was recently diagnosed with MS and I became her caregiver, and new experience for both of us. Carissa agreed to be her PCP. This is the first time, since being diagnosed, that my daughter has received any type of focused (I care type) attention. I am confident that Carissa will help my daughter deal with this illness. Thank you Carissa. Your professionalism and attentiveness approach is much appreciated and so are you. We look forward to our next appointment.

Very kind, easy to talk to, and helpful. My 10 year old son felt very comfortable talking to her and answering all her questions. Never made us feel rushed like some doctors tend to do. Addressed all our concerns one by one.
