I developed severe nausea over the weekend from pain medication. My usual PM doctor was on leave, but she made sure I received a prescription anti-nausea medication.

Went for another visit to see if she had any ideas on how to deal with fibromyalgia pain and fatigue, and haven't been able to work because of it. She said just to deal with it and I'd feel better getting up and moving and getting a job. I had a job and never felt any better only worse. She asked about my mental health and if I was seeing anyone. I said no and that my mental health was fine. She said "doubt it", and said I needed to get a job. My mental health was considerably worse when I was working. She then for some reason went on to talking about how I pay for things and I told her with money I had saved. She basically made it sound like I was a financial burden. I went to see her at Dunes Pain Center to see if there were any ideas on how to help manage pain and wasn't offered any help whatsoever besides being told to get a job. Was told I was lying about my mental health. And that I'm mooching of my parents.

Carey listens and hears what you are saying. Bounces ideas around, with good information.

Carey is a kind and compassionate ARNP. She cares about her patients and listens to all concerns. Her trigger point injections are always on point and offer great relief.
