If I could fiver her a big fat zero, I would. I never was able to have my child seen by this APN. During the phone consultation she was outright rude in NOT answering any of my questions, she was abrupt and very uncaring. No way I would ever expose my ADHD and mildly autistic child to her. Found an amazingly compassionate MD psychiatrist through Jewish Family Services whom we have been with for over 4 years and my child has flourished. I warn anyone that I know against potentially having their child seen by this practitioner. She doesn’t seem to care at all.

Love, Love, Love
I honestly cannot say enough good things about Caren. I initially found her online during Covid when my teenage daughter needed more help than her therapist could give. She is extremely patient, warm, caring, communicates well, is extremely responsive and professional. After some time, rather than have my general practitioner, continue to prescribe my anxiety medication, I became a patient of Caren’s as well. She changed up my medication a bit and has helped me significantly with my anxiety. We love Caren so much that we now have my 10 yo daughter seeing her as well for her anxiety / ADHD. Do not hesitate for a second to reach out to Caren. My family and I are certain that she can help you.

After several years of trial and error with my PCP, and with no offense to them, I decided to work with a psychiatrist and I'm so glad I found Caren. She is so nice and listens, and is organized and punctual. In a few months I am feeling better AND I'm not having the side effects that made me stop or change previous medications. I am very thankful to her for getting me to a better place.

My journey to helping my son through a very scary diagnosis of severe depression led us to Caren. His therapist recognized the need for broader intervention and recommended Caren. Her commitment to patient care and understanding of causes of depression and anxiety led us to what we believe to be the light at the end of the tunnel. Caren's expertise in cutting edge technology to determine which therapies would benefit my son was what was required to help him. Her calming nature helped both my son and I more easily navigate what could otherwise have been a very difficult journey.

Caren has been nothing but helpful to me in the past year I've spoken with her. She's honest and knows what's best for her patients. She's consistent with getting back to people and I've never met anyone who knows as much as her.

Caren is a caring practitioner who takes her time to review all of the case information and wants to genuinely make a difference and not just write prescriptions and move on to the next patient. She has been a tremendous help to my teen age daughter and was able to provide more focused and collaborative treatment plans than another provider we met. She is a true professional.

Caren is an excellent clinician with deep insights into teenage mood disorders. We visited a number of doctors with our son who has significant ADHD, a mood disorder, and Tourette's syndrome. Until Caren, no other providers truly understood our son. Caren also has great understanding of medications and their uses, efficacy, and side effects. We wholeheartedly recommend Caren to care for your family.

I have contacted this practitioner 3 times via live phone call, email and text message and asked her to please reach back out to me and she never did. When I spoke to her live once, she appeared annoyed that I even called her. I apologized, and then she stated that she would call me back within the hour and she never did. She then went on to say that my number resembled a number that she usually let’s go to voice mail??? I was astounded at her rudeness to me as a potential client.
