Candace Ashton, FNP

Candace has taken care of me for over 15yrs. She has always been caring supportive. She listens and doesn’t hesitate to defer to a specialist when the need calls for it. From the front office to the nurses I know I’m in good hands when I see Candace. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer all my friends and family to her.

I can’t count the number of times I have seen Candace Ashton for a medical visit. She manages to combine both exceptional medical care with kindness and perceptive inquiry. She is a top-tier nurse practitioner; I recommend her without reservation.

I have complete trust in Candace and her ability. While I am officially a patient of Dr. Tere Coats, whenever I needed to be to be seen quickly, Candace was always willing to have me come in and be seen that day. Plus, her skills in diagnosing the problem were right on as verified by further tests or corroboration. Most importantly, she is very kind, caring and I would always leave knowing I was in good hands.

Candace Ashton is a nurse practitioner & works with Dr. Teresa Coats in Austin, TX (University Physicians). In my 18 or so years of being a patient here, I probably saw Candace more often than any of the other practitioners in this office. Since she is held in such high regard by her patients, it was often difficult to get an appointment with her when you needed immediate attention about a medical issue.. She always listens carefully to you before coming up with a treatment plan. She's super!

Candice is one of my favorite NPs. I've been with her for 20 years. She's a very caring person. She always explains things to me so that I understand what's going on with whatever issues I'm having at the time. She spends whatever time she needs to with me, and I've never had any problems scheduling an appointment. I always feel safe and confident after leaving her office.
