A lot of small talk
Through our many sessions I was very open about my past and talkative, but we didn't mesh well, which left a lot of silence and awkwardness between us after I was done speaking; sometimes he'll end the session a little early because of it. It sort of felt like he would have preferred that I just ramble on and on until the time was up, rather than actually helping me with potential problems that may have been noticed in what I was saying to him. He's nice and professional, but all the nodding, "Ahhh...", "Mmhmmm," and superficial questions wore me down to the point I refused to go back. Thankfully, I have a psychiatrist now who actually analyze everything I say, gave me a proper diagnosis, and a lot of support.
