Received a text to confirm appointment at 1pm with UF Medicine & Pediatrics at the New Berlin location. Both my sons see Dr Cuevas in the back of the building. Once I saw pediatrics on text confirmation, I assumed it was for my son’s wellness check with Dr Cuevas. Got there at 1pm. Dr Cuevas kindly checked and didn’t see an appointment for my son, but asked if the appointment could possibly be for me. It was, so I walked to front of the building. Checked in, paid copay this was at 1:15 after figuring all of this out waited to be called back. Another 10 min went by and I was notified that Ms. McNutt refused to see me because I was late. They wanted to reschedule. Very frustrating afternoon considering I had my 3 year old in tow. I switched primary care physicians this afternoon. This place has had a lot of turnover that I have dealt with, but since my sons go to this location I always went out of convenience. She in my opinion handled this so poorly. Do NOT recommend scheduling with her specifically.

Over all I am so happy to come back to this facility again. Thank you for having me back and feel comfortable discussing my health needs

It was my first time seeing this provider due to Dr. Scuderi leaving. She did not seem interested in understanding why certain things were done or why I was there for the appointment.

Im aware that the decision is not up to Ms Mcnutt as far as what medications for me to remain on or start to take or how far back my medication dates are pushed back by the doctor but Ms Mcnutt does try to make things more convenient and safe for me amd she does take our conversation and discussions into consideration and she does try to get my scripts sent in on their normal refil date but I also know thats, left up to the doctor

This was my first visit so I don't want to judge until I see her again. She was nice. If I had anything negative to say it would be that she didn't try to see who I was or ask anything about my history to help her determine what type of care she needs to provide for me. Not much energy more of a go through the motion kind of visit. Could have just been a bad day. We will see how things go with my next visit.
