Brina was very nice at first, but unable to manage my child. Her focus was on the paperwork she was always needing to complete and criticizing my parenting. It was not feedback, but bold confrontation. After about five attempts we left. Within a month my child was psychiatrically hospitalized multiple times. Within the year, the physical abuse I had tried so hard to explain, but was ignored, came to light as my child started having visible bruises and broken blood vessel marks from different on objects from the abuser I had told her about. She’s not alone in the professionals that did not believe and failed to contact CPS or provide the trauma treatment we were there for, but her negligence directly prolonged the abuse and severity of abuse my child endured.
