I’ve been seeing Brenda for over a year, and I like her. It took me a few sessions to really get into the meat of my issues, but we got there and have really worked on getting them resolved. I appreciate her approach, and will continue to recommend her.

Like the person who posted previously, I found her to be extremely dismissive of my mood disorder issues. After ten minutes of meeting with me she informed me that I actually had ADHD. I also found her to be unprofessional and extremely loose with professional boundaries, including telling me all the diagnosis of her children. It was truly thee strangest therapy session I have encountered.

She was generally very dismissive of mood disorder issues past depression or anxiety. She also had an annoying habit of getting very off topic for the majority of our sessions, only to bring it back into focus on myself when there was less than 10 minutes left in the appointment. She was also fairly unprofessional in that she discussed other patients (though she never used names), as well as bad-mouthing her own family.
