I worked with PT Brad Gomez to overcome chronic sciatic pain from an L 4-5 degenerated disc. When we started I could not take a step in the morning without significant pain. Brad combined his deep knowledge of physical therapy with a knack for figuring me out. What would motivate me to do the necessary work? What information would help me understand my condition and the impact of the exercises he assigned? And when would that information be helpful and not overwhelming? After a total of 8 months physical therapy, I was playing pickle ball 3 days a week and even summered a (small) mountain. I would not have believed this transformation was possible. It was hard work. But Brad found the pathway out of pain for me, lead the way, and eventually got out of the way. While this type of pain can be triggered again, I have tools and a mindset that helps me recover. And I have Brad to help again if need be. I highly recommend Brad Gomez, especially for protracted pain.
