Bosede Adedire

This provider misdiagnosed me during my visit to Express Care Urgent Care, despite my explanation of my preexisting health condition. She was dismissive, and her medical examination did not meet standard protocols. She checked my lungs with her stethoscope placed over my outer garments, leading to an inaccurate diagnosis. This misdiagnosis was subsequently confirmed by another healthcare provider. I have submitted a formal complaint to the Director of Clinical Operating of Express Care Urgent Care.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a Urinary tract infection and needed antibiotics. Having other co-morbidities I was concerned with her choice of medication. As a pharmacist I expected to have a discussion with her regarding her choice of medication for me. However she was rude, and dismissive letting me know if I didn’t agree with her I could wait until the morning and go see my primary care doctor. As a fellow healthcare professional this is totally unacceptable.

She is dismissive, not thorough, does a cursory physical assessment, and ran out the door because I could finish asking all of my questions.

Does not understand how common psychiatric medications work and is rude. Told me that I would get serotonin syndrome from combining Wellbutrin with an SSRI (false, WB is an NDRI). Told me that ADHD can't be treated by Wellbutrin (false, WB is 2nd line treatment). Despite this, she gives me a script for Zyban, which IS WELLBUTRIN IN TWICE-DAILY FORM!? Repeatedly scoffed at me sanctimonious "you can't believe the internet"-type statements throughout entire interaction. Avoid this one, folks.
