Do not recommend for challenging behavior
My son saw this practitioner from an early age to address challenging behaviors and frequent tantrums. Time and time again, Ben told me that I needed to enact stricter punishments and more motivating rewards and that his behaviors would resolve. Turns out, my son is autistic. The blame and guilt I've carried from our interactions have weighed heavy on me for years. I truly believe seeing him caused harm to my family and it's taken us years to rebuild trust and implement strategies that actually work. Everyone has their blind spots, but I needed and expert and he was clearly over his head and provided no options towards a higher level of care. I wouldn't recommend him for children experiencing challenging behavior.
