Very professional and I felt very confident in his answers and expertise.

I went to Fort Wayne dermatology to have a few spots checked to see if the any of the spots looked like they might be cancer. Benjamin Giarmo was very efficient and thorough with the examination. He shaved off one of the spots that was really bothering me. Nothing looked like cancer I would recommend Benjamin Giarmo to all my friends and family.. he made me feel comfortable and at ease.

No way to leave ZERO starts or I would. Went to Fort Wayne Dermatology Comsultants on DuPont Rd. To have some skin tags removed and a mole looked at/removed. Ben was extremely unprofessional in that he seemed aggravated that I was there taking up his time. He rushed in to tell me that skin tags would not be covered under insurance and basically demanded on-the-spot payment. When I hesitated, he abruptly left the room. I could have been told this prior to arrival as they took all of my insurance information over the phone. The assistant had to call him back in to look at the mole which he said would cost several hundred dollars because it too was cosmetic. He then abruptly left again, never to be seen again (not that I wanted to). This type of behavior I wouldn’t put up with from my own kids, let alone a nurse practitioner. It is unbecoming and he should not be in the service industry.

Ben seems very competent, thorough, and personable to me. I will ask for him specifically for my next dermatology check-up.
