She is a scammer. I provided my insurance info beforehand and she confirmed she was in-network. On the day of the appointment after I had already finished the acupuncture she told me the insurance had not been approved and I had to pay the full price. I’ve never had to pay a medical bill for an in-network provider. My insurance doesn’t even have a copay for acupuncture. It would be like going to my PCP and having to pay the full price of the appointment when I’m only supposed to pay the copay. She told me once the insurance went through she would refund me. It was weeks before I was even able to get a hold of her for the refund. When I finally got the refund, it wasn’t for the full amount. She kept saying I had a copay when I didn’t. I still have not received the refund for the difference. I also found out through my insurance that 1) the service had been approved prior to my appointment date and she had been informed of that 2) she overcharged the insurance for services I didn’t get
