Dr. Bassam Kassab, DPT

Sam is an amazing therapist. He treated me after hip replacement. He is intuitive, listens intently to how you’ve responded from sessions, and provides first class care! I’ve been to many physical therapist in the past 20 years and Sam tops the charts. I drove 2 hours one way for my sessions with Sam for 3 months! That’s how good he is! You will be very happy choosing him as your physical therapist.

I have seen Dr. Bassam Kassab through 2 hip replacements and a rotator cuff repair. What I love about Dr. Bassam Kassab, is that each treatment is individualized to fit the person. It is not some generic plan. I am an avid golfer so he gave me exercises so I could get back to the golf course sooner rather than later! He also has a great team that works together.

Bassam has treated our family. He is through in his analysis and his physical therapy exercises WORK!!We LOVE Dr Kassab!!!!!!!!

From my first interaction with Bassam, I felt I was in good hands. I received his name from another patient who had a wonderful experience. Bassam lived up to the referral. After a thorough evaluation, my PT began. Not only was I given a variety of exercises during my sessions, we also ended each session with a massage working on the affected area, then stimulation along with a cold compress and once on my way to recovery, the cold was replaced with warmth. I had one on one interactions and I believe my therapy was all inclusive. The environment was a positive space to vent concerns. There was encouragement along the way.My orthopedic surgeon was more than pleased with my progress which was the icing on the cake. Although I have finished my PT, Bassam provided me with exercises that I can do at home to keep up the progress. If you need a PT, do yourself a favor and contact Bassam. My problem is my lower back and my goal is to avoid pain day-to-day, avoid drugs and surgery, and to do the activities I want. Dr. Kassab evaluated my posture, movement, pain, and MRI. He provided me specific and progressive exercise and therapy and my back is much improved. His care, the clinic, and his team are excellent.

Sam and his team were superb to work with. Had a great understanding of my surgery and the associated PT to get me back.

Dr. Kassab & his staff helped me get my confidence back after 1 1/2 years of a knee replacement & a compressed fracture of my L2 vertebrae…to be able to get back on the pickleball court, helping work on my daughter’s horse farm, and pretty much getting my life back!! Everyday at PT there were new exercises to try, and all to help me get stronger, mind & body! It was hard work, and fun at the same time! All the staff, Victoria & Sara, were so knowledgeable & encouraging! Norma kept us all in line with our appointment schedules! They all make you feel like you are part of a family that are all working together to help you be the best you can be!!! If I ever have to have more PT, I will be headed to the Southeastern Spine Institute Physical Therapy Department! They don’t just do “back” PT, they do it all!

My husband and I were referred to Dr. Kassab after surgeries, big and small. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to benefit from his knowledge and skill to aid in our recoveries. Bassam is a careful, thoughtful listener, compassionate, kind and gentle. Dr. Kassab is one of a kind. He is always thinking out of the box and trying to do the best thing for me to help me function to the best of my abilities.

Dr Kassab is very knowledgeable and understanding. He truly listened to all my concerns and questions and provided answers that were of the utmost benefit to me. I highly recommend Dr. Bassam Kassab. I went to him before and after my back surgery. He helped me strengthen myself before surgery, and he helped me quickly recover after surgery. Bassam is an excellent listener and an outstanding explainer. I appreciated his thoughtful manner as he decided the best therapeutic techniques and modalities to use for my condition. I can not say enough great things about Dr. Kassab! He took so much time with me to really find out what all was going on with me and explained to me so many things about my back and how the muscles and bones work and why I may be hurting in my lower back. He has the best bed side manner! He worked with me to put together a great plan to exercise and stretch by back and after a few short visits I was pain free! Great Dr., Great team!
