I saw Dr. Mara for 10 years and feel like she knew how to get my autistic mind to agree with what she thought or wanted. She is two faced and acts completely different if my family is in the room and I don’t think I even got the real Dr. Mara in my sessions. She made fun of me for being an Ace on multiple occasions. She called my inhuman for not having those feelings. Then said I wasn’t normal because I had not sexual feelings for a girl that is just a friend. If you are on the ASD spectrum or are LGBTA in any way, please rethink using her as your therapist.

BEWARE. DON'T USE THIS PSYCHOLOGIST. SHE'S JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY. MY FAMILY, AND TEENAGE SON WHO WAS HAVING SOME EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS, WERE HARMED & MADE MUCH WORSE BY THIS THERAPIST. SHE'S MEAN AND BEHAVES IN AN UNETHICAL MANNER. I HAVE SINCE SPOKEN WITH OTHER FAMILIES WHO HAVE HAD SIMILAR EXPERIENCES WITH THIS THERAPIST.
