At our first visit with Barbara she correctly pinpointed what four previous practitioners had missed, setting our whole family on a quick path to a new life. We came to her with a 4.5 year old girl who couldn't form sounds that people could understand (though she is developmentally normal), just imagine the frustration of that situation. Our daughter was also surviving on high calorie smoothies fed to her at 11pm and 5am honestly just to keep her alive. Barbara clearly saw the behavioral, sensory and structural issues that were causing SEVERE food aversion and keeping our family stuck in an exhausted state. She is a no-nonsense practitioner who will not accept failure and works tirelessly with the whole family dynamic. She is quick and relentless as she advocates for her clients when other practitioners would slow the progress down. We have been seeing her for only just a year and the changes in our daughter are dramatic.

My kids have been working with Barbra consecutively, both for different reasons. Barbara is professional, reliable, and great with my kids! She has additional training beyond general SLP credentials that allows her to help the patient beyond conventional methods. She identifies the root problems and then creates a plan that doesn’t just mask the existing symptoms. I would highly recommend Barbra for both adults and kids!

My son had been in speech therapy and worked with an early intervention teacher for several months with no progress toward speaking. They were more concerned with him moving his mouth than getting him to speak. Barbara had him speaking more words after just the evaluation. She has continued to be a tremendous help in bringing my son to the level he needs to be in school. The school still tries but their interaction doesn't help him at all.
