What you want in a therapist
In the time that I have been a client of Ms. Scott-Hernandez, the most profound thing that I have come to recognize is that she is genuinely concerned about the clients success. She is empathetic, perceptive, and she listens very well. I appreciate how she is able to pull things together at the end of our sessions, proving that she caught the spoken and unspoken details. She is reliable, culturally competent, and very therapeutic. I feel empowered and in control but it's also evident that she is asking questions and sometimes making statements to lead me to more awareness, understanding and acceptance of myself and my circumstances. She has nurtured a safe space for me and has played such a significant role in my growth and development. I'm so appreciative and couldn't recommend her enough.

Unapologetic and short
Telehealth
When she finally showed up for my consultation she was over half an hr late. Didn’t apologize nor introduce herself. Showed no interest on why i was seeking therapy and only cared to know if i wanted to book her going forward. Rude and short. Definitely do not recommend working with her.
