Dr. Taylor was quick to introduce himself and I found him to be courteous and professional. He addressed my previous concerns regarding cataracts and glaucoma when questioned and was quick to offer a referral. What I found unusual was that the eye exam was very brief, not including the initial work up with the assistant and time taken to answer my questions perhaps 15 minutes at most. All my previous eye exams at Rowe Family checked for the actual health and integrity of my eyes such as dryness and abrasions as well as vision. It was the shortest eye exam I ever had at Rowe Family Eyecare. Is this the new normal? Has research shown that an eye exam of 15 minutes can produce the same results as one that takes 45 minutes?
