Focused more on spirituality than I liked. Let me talk freely, but offered only mindfulness exercises. I went in believing that my problems didn't have solutions and left feeling the same. She has since left the PCSD office on Chesapeake; she gave me a week's notice before she quit. Unfortunately, appointments book up a month in advance, so I never went back to see anyone else. The handheld radio always playing in the waiting room drove me crazy. Static and commercials - not relaxing. Avoid.

Never seemed to listen to anything I was saying. Seemed to be working her own issues out on me. When I told her my last therapist was emotionally abusive, she went into a lecture about what perception is and how mine could be off. She gave me the definition of perception on three different sessions. It hurts to think about it. She is really nice though, which had me stay. Bad idea. If your therapist isn't listening and refuses to listen, no matter how nice, just leave.
