Seen at an urgent care. She clearly had no idea what was going on before stepping into the room. Her plan therefore seemed to be to get my wife out of there in as quick a time possible. Before my wife got two sentences into a quick description of her symptoms, the NP stated that she'd send a cream and antibiotic to the pharmacy. No exam done, no background questions. Which meant she didn't yet know my wife has ulcerative colitis, which is likely behind some of the inflammatory symptoms (we know this from previous specialists visits). When my wife tried to finish telling her the symptoms, this NP cut her off and said 'well I have no idea why you'd be having aches to go along with these cysts'. ...of course she had no idea, she never sought to find anything out about my wife.
