She IS unconcerned about the patients issues. She doesn't talk to you rather talks down at you; she's very condescending. Gave me a prescription and told me I needed PT. At which point she proceeds to explain if that doesn't work she would send me to pain management for an injection but my insurance wouldn't pay for it until I went to PT at least 6 times. I was in so much pain I could barely walk. I went to PT evaluation and was told I couldn't do PT because I was too inflamed. Ms. Gilchrist at this point said that I still had to wait until I did 6 PT sessions before she could send me along because of insurance. I wonder who she works for?? I went around her to another doctor and ins approved my request. I received my spinal injection and I'm in PT. Guess who ISN'T my doctor? She's keeping her patients in pain advocating for the insurance co instead of getting them healthy and allowing them some relief. All this after LOOKING at me for 3 minutes.
