I broke a bone in my hand in 2017. I finished hand theraoy with a diagnosis of "tight intrinsic muscles" and reduced use of my ring and smallest finger. This limited my activities and forced me to give up some hobbies. After several months of contactless teaching, my middle and ring fingers hurt and stiffened. My orthopedist referred me to Arthur for more therapy. In the initial viait, Arthur found my wrist was not gliding and this was the source of the tendonitis. He continued working to strengthen the wrist and on the range of motion in my fingers to prevent a reoccurence. Arthur also suggested that I talk to the orthopedist again about the fingers. I followed Arthurs's suggestion and was referred to a hand/plastic surgeon who diagnosed trigger finger. I've had the surgery and have regained 90% of the motion in a week. Without Arthur's suggestion I would have lived with the limitations.
