During the course of my life, I have consulted therapists when I was going through difficult times. I never made a second appointment . They were just "filling up a form". About 3 years ago, during a particularly hard time a friend recommended Dr. Tanona. I found him to be a tremendously professional and compassionate therapist. I felt that he really listened. He guided me into looking at situations with different perspectives which has been of enormous help in all aspects of my life.

I have known Dr. Tanona in a variety of capacities for the past thirteen years primarily as a colleague. I find him to be one of the most ethical, fair and clinically solid professionals I have had the fortune of working with.. I believe I know Dr. Tanona well enough to state that he is an exemplary clinical psychologist who is dedicated to his clientele, coworkers and the mental health field. During these thirteen years Dr. Tanona has also impressed me not only with his overall dedication

He just sits there for the hour and gives generic solutions or advice. I felt like he was just there to collect his hourly rate, as opposed to offering any compassion or counseling. It was like talking to a wall.
